Sian Berry, Green Party Co-Leader and London Assembly Member, addressed thousands of demonstrators outside Downing Street on 31 August protesting against the suspension of Parliament. Speaking to Green Party members later, Sian said: “Greens and people from other parties are all here to defend our MPs’ right to sit in Parliament and decide what happens next to clear up this Brexit chaos.” Demonstrations will continue next week when Parliament resumes.
