Give money back Ken, demands Darren

In 2003 Livingstone called upon his supporters to fund his candidacy for the 2004 election as he lacked the support of a “big party Machine” and would depend “on the hard work and financial support of individuals” to re-elect him as Mayor of London.

“Now that Ken has rejoined Labour, he should return all the donations he has received for his mayoralty candidacy as he now has the backing of the New Labour party machine. To do otherwise would be hypocrisy on the part of Mayor”, said Darren Johnson, Green Party candidate for Mayor of London.”

“For those who voted Livingstone last time but can’t stomach voting Labour, the Green Party is the only serious choice. If voters want policies based on peace, justice and equality, they need to vote Green in the June elections.”

Darren Johnson is focussing his campaign on quality of life. His policy platform is designed to ensure that London becomes a green, viable and sustainable city for all.
