BBC London Mayoral poll sees Jenny Jones in top three on all issues except crime

Responding to a BBC poll suggested that Mayoral candidate Jenny Jones now lies in the top three on every issue except crime, Jones said:

"Politics in the capital is changing.

"It’s pleasing to see that we are considered a top-three party in almost every area of policy in London.

"Our forthcoming manifesto provides a fairer, safer and more affordable vision for London.

"We’re already trusted on the environment, and we believe our policies on other key areas, such as reducing the pay gap and making transport more affordable without damaging investment, give Londoners a genuine, positive choice.

"Now is the time to vote Green-not just for me as Mayor, but in the Assembly too, where we are increasingly confident that more Green members will be elected and more of our policies will be implemented."

Jones, who sat on the Metropolitan Police Authority throughout it’s existence and now sits on the London Assembly’s Committee on Policing and Crime, will release her policies on crime later this month.
