Camden Green Party is calling for the cycle-hire scheme to be extended from Camden Town up through Kentish Town to Hampstead Heath, with docking stations at the bottom of Swain’s Lane, and the Lido.

Camden Green Party were out in force this Saturday at the Heath collecting signatures for a petition to be given to the Mayor.
Camden member Tim Sowula said “we believe this should happen because residents deserve to have access to the scheme, which saves money, is healthier and fun and has the added benefit of reducing traffic congestion which is badly needed, especially in Kentish Town.
Londoners who already use the scheme should be able to dock their bikes next to the Heath, one of London’s most beautiful and popular parks. NW5 has so much to offer, it needs to be on the cycle-hire map. London’s cycle-hire zone should be at least the size of Paris, and include London’s best areas.”
