Keith Taylor, Green MEP for the South East is looking for a Full Time Media Officer from January 2013 for a 12 month contract (Maternity Cover), working at the Office of the Green MEPs in Old Street, London.
Keith Taylor MEP is the Green Party Member of the European Parliament for South East England. He works on a wide range of issues in the European Parliament and across his constituency including transport, energy, international development, human rights, animal welfare and LGBT rights.
Keith is looking for an enthusiastic, creative and strategic communications professional who can support him to raise his media profile and publicise his work to a wide range of audiences.
You will be experienced in securing positive media coverage, producing publications and will have experience of working with online media. You will have excellent research skills and a commitment to Green politics. A highly organised individual, you will be able to work on your own initiative, prioritising your workload and simultaneously managing a number of projects. An excellent team player you will be confident talking to people at all levels, in person and on the phone.
Salary: £30,000 per annum including London weighting, plus pension contribution.
