Darren Johnson has called on the Mayor of London and the Government to remain committed to their carbon dioxide reduction targets and to deliver the funding and policies required to meet them.
The Mayor expects to miss his own targets by a third if he and the Government don’t develop and deliver further policies and funding streams.
Darren Johnson said: "Every year we see targets slip, budgets not spent and projects watered down, and they don’t even cover all the reductions we need.
"It’s essential that the Government and the Mayor give Londoners and the markets confidence that they are committed to targets based upon expert advice, and then actually deliver the goods to meet them."
