Responding to being declared one of the most influential Londoners at the Evening Standard’s awards for the fifth year in a row, Green Party Mayoral Candidate Jenny Jones said: "I’ve loved London since I came here at the age of five and hugged an orangutan at London Zoo. I’m very proud to be considered someone of influence in a city as dynamic and diverse as our capital.
"I’ve always felt a tremendous connection with our city and I think it brings out the best in many of us; pushing us forward to achieve for our communities and make London a better place for those that live here and visit.
"London is the greatest city in the world and is inhabited by such a wonderful people. I’m very pleased to be able to play a role within both."
