Future Green MEP becomes proud Dad

Paul, 36 and his wife, Emily and new son Coll live in Peckham, Southwark having formerly lived in Oxford where Paul was co-Leader of Oxford Council.

Paul is on paternity leave from his job as a Senior Analyst for defence policy groups specialising in transatlantic security, nuclear and biological weapons and arms export subsidies.

Paul said, "Becoming a dad reinforces my belief in Green politics. We have to promote a more responsible relationship with the rest of the world that involves international cooperation on resolving conflicts and reversing environmental collapse."

The European election will be held on June 10th next year at the same time as the elections for the London Assembly and the London Mayoralty. At the last Assembly elections the Greens scored one of their best ever results in the Party’s history, securing 11.1% of the vote across London and winning three seats on the 25-member Assembly.
