said Green Party candidate, Darren Johnson, commenting on the news that Ken Livingstone is set to be Labour’s official candidate for London Mayor.
"Livingstone is forgetting that the pro-war,pro-privatisation Labour Party have shafted the country and shafted Londoners and I think it is cynical opportunism that is leading Livingstone into the Labour fold.
Ken’s greenness is nothing more than a sham. If voters want policies based on peace, justice and equality, they need to vote Green in the June elections," said Darren.
