Green party selects its candidate for Mayor of London

London Green party members have been sent voting papers for the above candidate selection, complete with statements by the candidates.

To help members make up their mind, hustings are being held tomorrow (Wednesday 23rd April 2003) at the University of London Union, Malet Street, London WC1 commencing at 7.30pm.

Press and other media representatives are invited to attend the hustings and to put questions to the candidates. It is hoped that this will be a lively debate with many questions from London Green party members.

Completed ballot papers have to be returned to the returning officer by Saturday 3rd May 2003. The Green Party’s Mayoral candidate will be announced on Monday 5th May.

Road Safety Ambassador she has confronted the car lobby and was delighted to see the success of the London congestion charging. Jenny lives in the London borough of Southwark.
