Stephen Taylor FRSA is secretary of the Hampstead Neighbourhood Forum, a former trustee of England's oldest conservation society, The Heath & Hampstead Society, and a founder of the Londoners on Bikes campaign. He lives in Hampstead and has worked most of his life with analytical software for the finance sector.

Bexley and Bromley - Roisin RobertsonRoisin Robertson

Roisin Robertson stood as a Green council candidate in Bromley & Chislehurst in 2008 and 2014, where she tripled her vote. A Green Activist for over 25 years, and a former journalist, she is Press Officer and Membership Secretary for Bromley Green Party.

Brent and Harrow - Jafar HassanJafar Hassan

 Jafar Hassan is a Brent born and bred freelance writer, working on digital content strategy. He worked as the campaign manager for the Green Party in Hackney at the last general election, achieving the party's best result in London, and has previously stood as a candidate for the party in two local elections in Brent. He has a Masters in politics and a Bachelors in journalism.

City and East - Rachel CollinsonRachel Collinson

Rachel Collinson has been an entrepreneur for nearly twenty years. In that time she has created dozens of jobs, helped start-up businesses succeed and inspired hundreds of young women to consider a career in technology.

Rachel entered politics in 2014, having watched the coalition government savage her industry and destroy the profitability of hundreds of thousands of small firms like hers. With her knowledge and experience, she hopes to help rebuild London with the houses and jobs that ordinary people need, not just the rich and powerful.

Croydon and Sutton - Tracey HagueTracey Hague

Tracey Hague is a long-standing member of the Croydon and Sutton Green Party and has stood as a candidate at Council and European elections. She lives with her partner and two sons in Addiscombe and for the past 15 years has worked in the energy and buildings sector. Tracey is an active member of the Stop The South London Incinerator campaign as well being a member of the parents' association at her sons' school and the Croydon Scouts.

Ealing and Hillingdon - Meena Hans

Meena Hans

Meena Hans has been an active member of Ealing Green Party since 2010. During this time she has stood twice in local council elections and once in the General Election when she stood in the constituency of Ealing North last year. She is an Adult Education teacher who has lived and worked in the area for most of her life so is familiar with the problems faced by residents of the area.

Enfield and Haringey - Ronald StewartRonald Stewart

Ronald Stewart joined the Green Party, with many others, during the Green surge of the 2015 general election. He has lived in London for 10 years, moving between three boroughs gaining personal experience of the pressures of renting in the city. He works as a local tutor, building confidence in maths, and enjoys cycling around to visit students. As a local campaigner, he has arranged air pollution monitoring in both Enfield and Haringey.

Greenwich and Lewisham - Imogen SollyImogen Solly

Imogen Solly is a lifelong Lewisham resident and committed campaigner against cuts to public services, threats to our environment and social injustice. She is a member of the group A Better Lee Green campaigning for an improved district centre redevelopment, and has been active in campaigns to protect libraries, green spaces, affordable homes and local small businesses.

Havering and Redbridge - Lee BurkwoodLee Burkwood

Originally from Chingford, Lee works for an education software company in Docklands. He is part of the Homes For All campaign and as a member of the Unite union he is a passionate campaigner for an end to zero hours contracts and a living wage for all. Lee will be campaigning in the election on low pay, the lack of affordable housing and for rent controls.

 

Lambeth and Southwark - Rashid NixRashid Nix

Rashid Nix is a housing activist, youth mentor, radio presenter, social commentator and father. A south London native, and graduate of South Bank University, he originally worked in publishing.

Rashid spent 5 successful years at Westminster REC as a mentoring expert, designing programmes for hard to reach young people and served as community representative training police officers as part of the Lawrence Inquiry recommendations.

Merton and Wandsworth - Esther Obiri-DarkoEsther Obiri-Darko

Esther Obiri-Darko is a Chemist and has over 15 years' experience as a Secondary school Science and Chemistry teacher. As Parliamentary candidate for Tooting in the 2015 national elections, she stood against Sadiq Khan and trebled the Green vote, coming third in the election race.

She is an active member of UN Women London and Women Worldwide Advancing Freedom and Equality and has campaigned alongside local Women's Rights groups and NHS medical staff to protect access to a Uro-Gynaecological unit in her local hospital.

North East - Samir JerajSamir Jeraj

Samir Jeraj is a journalist and housing campaigner. He works in race equality, particularly in health services, criminal justice and housing. Samir served as a Green Party councillor in Norwich for four years, where he was Deputy Leader of the Opposition. He lives in Stamford Hill in Hackney.

South West - Andree FriezeAndree Frieze

Andree is a freelance journalist and Richmond resident who stood for the Greens in the last General Election in the Richmond Park constituency, when she achieved a record 6 percent of the vote. She is a governor at a local primary school, sits on the Ham & Petersham Neighbourhood Forum committee and campaigns on housing, air pollution and 20mph speed limits, in particular. She is also supporting local residents to bring Syrian refugees to both Kingston and Richmond.

West Central -  Jennifer NadelJennifer Nadal

Jennifer Nadel is a qualified barrister, broadcaster, and writer. She has lived in the West Central Constituency for all her adult life. The daughter of a refugee she has a strong commitment to human rights and social justice. She was the party's General Election candidate in Westminster North and, if elected to the Assembly, would fight to preserve public services, protect green spaces, cut air pollution and improve public transport, and stop the demolition and sell-off of social housing.
