Introduction
The people of London took a brave decision to elect a Green MEP in 1999 and three Green London Assembly Members in 2000.Back then, we were an untested political force with much to prove. Now we have a track record of success and opinion polls show that support for the Greens is rising. Polls also show that Green policies coincide with public opinion far more than those of the other parties.
People are looking for a positive, radical alternative to the discredited establishment parties and the Green Party provides it.
